[뉴욕 일상]한식 맛집 추천 _ 기사식당

 

 

뉴욕에서 요즘 엄청 핫하다고 하는 기사식당이 있다길래 

처음에는 상상조차 가지 않았는데 

진짜 말 그대로 내가 생각한 한국에서 볼 법한 바로 그 기사 식당.....! 

이왜진 ?! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I heard there’s a super popular ‘Gisa restaurant’ in New York.

At first, I couldn’t even imagine what it would be like,

but it turned out to be exactly like the kind of 'Gisa restaurant' you’d expect to see in Korea...!

Seriously?! 

 

핫플에 내가 빠질 수 없지>< 싶어서 당장 달려가 보기로했다 ㅎㅎ

위치도 East Village 라니 !! 

요즘 미국 MZ 세대들에게도 힙하고 인기 있는 매우 유명한 곳이라 

평일 주말 할 것없이 사람들이 북적북적한 동네랄까 - 

안그래도 요새 한식이 땡겼는데 설레는 마음을 가득안고 ♬

I decided to rush over right away, hehe.

And it’s located in East Village!!

It’s become super popular and trendy with the Gen Z crowd in the U.S.

The neighborhood is always bustling with people, no matter if it’s a weekday or weekend.

I’ve been craving Korean food lately, so I went there with a heart full of excitement ♬

 

 

위치도 지하철 내리자마자 입구 바로 앞에 있어서 너무 좋았다 ㅎㅎㅎ

The location was perfect too – right in front of the entrance as soon as I got off the subway.

메뉴도 매우 간단하게 있어서 결정하기도 쉬웠지롱 후훗

The menu was super simple, so it was easy to decide what to get, hehe.

 

 

 

 

 

저렇게 거울에 박제되어 있는 메뉴들이 

왜인지 모르게 정겨웠달까 ㅋㅋㅋ 

가격은 인당 32불 ! + 텍스... 팁.... ㅎ ㅏ ㅎ ㅏ

The menu displayed in the mirror somehow felt like familiar and cozy, haha.

The price was $32 per person!

 

 

 

 

 

음식 나오기 전에 매장 구경하는데 

저런 소품들 하나하나 신경써서 인테리어한거 너무 귀엽고 -

특히 저 티비 !! 테레비라고 불러야만할 것 같은 ㅎㅎㅎ

유튜브 연결이 되는거 같던데.. 갖고싶다.... 

Before the food arrived,

I was looking around the place and I loved how every little detail of the decor was thoughtfully done – it was so cute!

Especially that TV!! I feel like it should be called ‘terebi’ (the Korean word for TV), haha.

I think it was connected to YouTube... I really want one...

 

 

음식 나오기 전에 설탕 누룽지 주시는데 

끊임없이 들어가더라구요....?

원래 내가 이렇게 누룽지를 좋아했던 건가 싶을 정도

밥 좀만 더 늦게 나왔으면 누룽지로만 배 채울뻔 ㅎㅎ

참 그리고 누룽지를 매장에서 직접 만든대요!!!!

어쩐지 맛있더라 ~

Before the food came out, they gave us some sugar-flavored nurungji (crispy rice),

and I just couldn’t stop eating it... (how........?

I was starting to wonder if I’ve always liked nurungji this much.

If the rice had come out a little later, I probably would’ve just filled up on nurungji, haha.

Oh, and they make the nurungji right in the restaurant!!!

No wonder it tasted so good~

내가 시킨 메뉴는 비빔밥 ><

예전부터 제대로된 비빔밥 먹고싶었는데 

오늘 대성공 ♥

나물은 물론이고 밥이 일단 보리밥이라.. 말해뭐해 거침없이 쭉쭉 들어가는 마법

사이드로 주시는 된장국도 향수를 불러일으키는 맛 ㅜ,ㅜ

내가 분명 급식 때 먹었던 맛이었는데 하 또 먹고싶다

The dish I ordered was bibimbap ><

I’ve been wanting to have proper bibimbap for a long time,

and today was a total success ♥

Not only the vegetables, but the rice was barley rice...

no need to say more – it was like magic, I just kept eating without stopping.

The side dish, miso soup, also had that nostalgic taste ㅜ,ㅜ.

It tasted just like the one I used to have in school lunch...

Ah, I really want to eat it again.

사장님들도 그렇고 직원들도 인싸 스타일에 매우매우 열정적으로 일하시는 거 같아서

힘이 더 생기게 만드는 곳이었어요 ㅎㅎ 

더 핫해지기 전에 (이미 핫함) 얼른 가보시길 >< 

The owners and staff were all so friendly and seemed super passionate about their work,

giving me even more energy while I was there.

Before it gets even more popular (though it’s already pretty hot),

you should definitely check it out ><

여러분들은 학교 다니던 때에 급식 어떠셨나요 -

전 사실 너무 좋아했어요 호호

 특히 고등학생 때 먹었던 점심과 저녁식사가 잊혀지지 않는구만요..

사실은 음식보다 그 학창시절의 분위기랑 

매점에서 사 먹었던 후식들 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

제 최애는 엘사가 그려져있는 요거트 아이스크림이었답니다 ^_^ 

물론 빵도 ㅎㅎ  저는 빵에 있어서 호불호 XXX

Personally, I really loved it, haha.

Especially the lunch and dinner I had in high school—I can’t forget those meals.

Honestly, it wasn’t just the food but the whole vibe of those school days, and the snacks

My absolute favorite was the yogurt ice cream with Elsa on the package ^_^

And of course, the bread... haha
